About Peter Zeller
A resident of Charlotte, NC, Peter Zeller is a commanding officer in the United States Navy Reserve and a director of strategic sourcing with Honeywell International. Over the course of a military career that spans more than a quarter century, he has served multiple combat tours of duty in the Middle East, led a squadron deployment in Africa, and was awarded a Bronze Star and two Army Combat Action Badges. Although he lives in Charlotte, NC, Peter Zeller currently commands the NR Fifth Fleet/Naval Central Command Plans/TSCP Unit in Atlanta, GA.
Mr. Zeller has concurrently led global procurement operations for Honeywell International since 2005. His professional activities with Honeywell ranged from capital expansion and procurement to pipeline and forecast reporting. In 2020, he spearheaded strategic sourcing initiatives to establish eight new personal protective equipment (PPE) manufacturing sites to meet rapidly growing demand for PPE, including N95 masks and high-tech filters. In total, he procured more than $150 million in capital equipment and expansion services in 2020.
